Empowering women for success
At Warri Ladies’ Vanguard North America, we have embarked on a project aimed at empowering Itsekiri women with essential life skills.
Empowering individuals in society is a complex endeavor that often involves the participation of communities, schools, families, and parents. Equipping women with the knowledge and skills necessary to be vital members of society is an imperative task—one that Warri Ladies’ Vanguard North America has chosen to address.
Our objective is to provide Itsekiri women and girls with the knowledge, skills, and resources required for them to prosper within their communities. This initiative stems from our understanding that women need to be adequately prepared with the appropriate knowledge, skills, and resources to succeed in the modern world.
We focus on women and girls whose aspirations for higher education were hindered by financial constraints or lack of community support. Warri Ladies’ Vanguard North America is dedicated to assisting these eligible and qualified women, provided they possess a secondary school diploma and show a willingness to learn skills such as fashion design, dressmaking, culinary arts, catering, makeup artistry, hairdressing, teacher training, and healthcare/nursing assistance.
Now more than ever, the empowerment of Itsekiri women and girls is crucial. By arming our sisters and daughters with the necessary tools for self-advocacy, they gain independence and are safeguarded against dependency.
We extend an invitation for you to join us in a mutually beneficial partnership to support Itsekiri women and girls. If you share the belief that women and girls can excel when properly skilled, let's collaborate to empower a generation of socially responsible daughters, mothers, sisters, wives, and community leaders.
