Warri Ladies Vanguard NA launch 'Teach Itsekiri' program
On Friday January 17, 2025, Warri Ladies Vanguard North America proudly launched its ‘Teach Itsekiri’ program by presenting a generous check of One Million Naira to the Itsekiri Language Department at the College of Education Warri.
The donation was specifically aimed at covering the tuition fees for 14 Itsekiri language students in the department.
Through this initiative, Warri Ladies Vanguard North America hopes to inspire and prepare these students to become future educators of the the Itsekiri language in schools.
This program is a testament of Warri Ladies Vanguard North America’s dedication to preserving and promoting the language and culture. By investing in the education of these students, Warri Ladies Vanguard North America is taking a significant step towards ensuring the continuity and growth of their linguistic heritage.
